I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
